Private Pay with a Purpose
Why Private Pay
At Rock Kids Pediatric Therapy, we have chosen to accept private pay only and do not bill insurance in order to provide the highest quality care without the constraints of working through insurance companies. The benefits of this model include:
- Faster access to services, eliminating the wait for insurance approval and enabling us to begin therapy right when it's needed most
- More freedom for families and therapist to collaborate directly to create individualized therapy plans that align with each child's unique needs and goals
- No restrictions on the the duration or frequency of services. We are able to schedule services based on therapist recommendations and family schedule/finances to create a treatment plan that works for everyone.
This approach allows us to focus solely on what is best for your child, without being restricted by the limitations of insurance coverage or treatment protocols. We believe this flexibility enables us to provide more effective, personalized therapy that prioritizes long-term progress and outcomes.
Good Faith Estimate
We are committed to transparency and ensuring you have the information you need to make informed decisions about your child’s care. As part of this commitment, we provide a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) upon request or when scheduling services, in accordance with the No Surprises Act. This estimate outlines the expected costs of therapy services based on your child’s treatment plan, helping you understand potential out-of-pocket expenses before care begins. Please note that the GFE is not a bill but an estimate, and actual costs may vary depending on changes in treatment plan or other factors. We’re here to answer any questions you may have—feel free to contact us to discuss your estimate or any financial concerns!
Evaluation
Initial evaluations include a dynamic assessment, parent interview, records review (if applicable), report write-up, and creation of a collaborative treatment plan.

Treatment Sessions
Direct treatment sessions range from 30 minutes-60 minutes based on child need, therapist recommendation and family input. Sessions are playful and engaging, strength-based, neurodiversity affirming, evidence based and individualized to each client.
- 30 minute session: $40
- 45 minute session: $60
- 60 minute session: $80
OT Parent Collaboration Session
We believe that close parent collaboration is a key to meeting goals. Our occupational therapist offers 1:1 parent meetings to be able to discuss concerns, new goal areas, and brainstorm strategies to utilize at home. These meetings can be held in the clinic or via phone/video call to best fit your family's schedule.
